Literature Circle Reflection for Group Discussion and Blog

 

GENERAL DIRECTIONS:

  1. Frequency: You will do ONE reflection for each section of reading.
  2. Choose a ROLE: Discussion Director, Connector, Literary Luminary or Illustrator (for later chapters). Change roles each time.
  3. POST reflection on your blog: Give a posting title that says it all – Chapter 1-4–- Connector
  4. PRINT OUT: Bring the print out to class to use during the group oral discussion.

 

  1. Writing QUESTIONS: Please write questions at the highest levels from 3 to 6 of Bloom’s taxonomy, varying your questions as much as possible.

Write 5 questions. Each question should be about a different theme. Use different questions beginnings from 3 – 6. Avoid 1 and 2. (Total: 5 questions)

Literary Luminary

 

Choose 3 passages that you feel are important to share. Each passage must be about a different theme. Give page number and paragraph number for each passage and a description of the passage. Explain why you chose it.

Write a different type of question (3-6) for each passage.

Write a REFLECTION that describes briefly about what is illustrated in the picture, explains why you picked the scene and reflects on the picture’s meaning to the story, including your feelings and those of the characters in the illustrated scene
