Method #1:
borrowing an image saved by SOMEONE ELSE on another server
EASIEST and SIMPLEST method! … but not your own :(
Be sure you go to the image (NOT the website). It has .jpg or .gif on the http//: line
NOTE MAC: control-click on the image and select Open Image in New Window

Method #2:
using YOUR image saved by YOU for free on another server
Other GREAT images: Go to CAC library page and search Associated Press (hundreds of press photographs) http://ap.accuweather.com/ (For at home, see Library for ID and password.)
Find image and download it to your computer hard drive.
B. Set up a free account at Flickr at http://flickr.com/login.gne to store your images.
Flickr – works with Mac and PC – Write username down in planner.
NOTE: THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS ARE ALL DONE IN FLICKR.
C. Put your own images into your flickr account: Upload method
1. On Home screen, click Upload and Browse your hard drive.
2. When it indicates finished, go to Home screen to see images.
D. Put own image into Flickr: E-mail method
1. Click Your Account (upper right corner), under Blogging section click Uploading photos by email.
2. Copy the email address.
3. Go to your email (hotmail, etc.) and attach an image to your message and send it to the address given. (Paste email address into To: line.)
4. Click on Home screen and see your image there! (almost immediate)
E. To get your own images into your Blogger blog from Flickr
1. Click Your Account (upper right corner), under Blogging section click Your Blogs.
2. Click on Set up a new blog and follow directions. You have a Blogger blog. (This allows flickr to recognize your blog.)
3. Click on Layout, under the blog and select where you want the image.
4. On Home screen, double-click on image you want.
5. Above image, click on small icon that says “BLOG THIS”.
6. Follow instructions all the way through. Make image “public” and put in blog password. (At school, do NOT save password to the computer.)
7. Check your blog URL to see your posting with image.
