My goal is to keep students learning through class discussions,
report writing, exploring relevant historical events through to current
conflicts and situations globally. We
will complete group projects that allow students to live the past, to
taste and
feel events in a real way and learn history with their own personal
knowledge. Writing will be frequent in
this class.
The course grade is inclusive of the following:
-Written
work
25%
-Tests and Quizzes
25%
-Homework/Class Preparation

In the Eighth grade it is expected that you will respect
classmates as equals. Negative comments
are inexcusable and we should value the insight and interpretation of
each
individual in all our school activities.
All other expectations as designated in the AISJ student
handbook will
be adhered to.
