To
give
students confidence and skills in their own mathematical abilities. I aim to help students improve their
abilities to think critically, to problem solve, and to communicate
their
reasoning.
Geometry
is the course following Algebra I in the American school
mathematics progression. The big themes
of the course are:
Throughout
the course we will study properties and relationships
pertaining to two and three-dimensional shapes. We
will also use visual problems to reinforce skills and
techniques first introduced in Algebra I.
Assessment
helps me know how well each student is incorporating
new material into his/her previous mathematical abilities.
It also can be an opportunity to learn and
stretch your understanding. Throughout
