A Sinking Adventure
One day in winter, about three years ago, I was going to my friend’s house
through a field. It was a very big field with some trees on it. There were
about 50 centimetres of snow. It was about 4:30 o’clock and it was getting
darker, so I didn’t know exactly where I was going.
I was near my friends’ house but suddenly I realised that I was in a river.
So I went back and jumped on the other side of it. I wanted to go, but
I realised that there was water in my shoes. I tried to check why, but
I couldn’t move. I was in a river and I was sinking. I was looking for
any help and I saw a tree about a meter from me. My plan was to catch it
and go out of the river. But the tree was too far.
About 10 minutes after I stopped sinking, but I couldn’t move. I lost any
hope and I thought that I’d stay there for a whole night. Suddenly I realised
that someone was pulling my hood and I was going up. That was my friend,
who was hiking with his dog.
Then I called to my parents from my cell phone and I went to the nearest
road. About 20 minutes later my dad arrived and took me home. So unfortunately
that day I didn’t visited my friend’s house. However, I had an interesting
adventure.
